It is the sincerely held belief of the Church of the Inner Mind that all psychedelics, and specifically LSD, are holy sacraments of God that we are meant to partake of often. We are not an anti-government organization. A person's government is their ruling body and should be respected and obeyed, except where an infringement is made upon one's individual freedom, including the right to freedom of consciousness. Members of the Church of the Inner Mind, known as psycholumins, are expected to be upstanding role models of society and their community. We respect and cherish our Earth and all of life upon it, recognizing everything as part of the All. It is our duty to live, love and experience.
The blog "God on Drugs" is the official platform for the Church of the Inner Mind's global sermons.
On LSD
It is our belief that time is relative and everything that is going to happen has already happened. Therefore, we recognize that everything happens exactly as it's supposed to, exactly when it's supposed to. The discovery and synthesis of LSD by our Holy Prophet, Albert Hofmann, illustrates this belief perfectly. Had it not been the intent of God the we partake of this sacrament, the story of LSD-25 would have ended with its first, unpromising trial. Instead, the LSD called to Hofmann and beckoned him to synthesize it yet again. In this second trial, regardless of the care shown when handling ergoline compounds, the LSD made its power known to Hofmann. We believe this is indicative of the fact that LSD is meant to exist and that we are meant to experience it.
We do not believe LSD is meant to be used recklessly. LSD is a teacher that we must respect and honor as a spiritual guide to ritualistically become One with the All.
